The Hollywood Reporter’s “UNLIKELY” Review

After premiering theatrically in New York last week, Unlikely, the latest documentary about higher education from the team that brought you First Generation, is getting buzz from Hollywood.
In a glowing review from The Hollywood Reporter, reviewer John DeFore called Unlikely “optimistic” and praises the angle from which it approaches the issues in higher education
His take away from the film? That, “clearly, the sink-or-swim model is not working for many students, and over time, those failures drag a whole country down.” DeFore especially lauds that Unlikely is focused on solving existing problems, and not just lamenting the fact that they exist.
