Although COVID-19 is closing schools and cancelling extra-curricular events across the nation, all around awesome human being John Krasinski made sure that one annual rite of spring still played on: prom.

Since March 25th, Krasinski has been running a YouTube channel called “Some Good News,” intent on cheering up people all over the world with a break from the heaviness of our current headlines. 

And this week in addition to his weekly broadcast, Kraskinski hosted a virtual prom to lift the spirits of high school seniors currently missing this milestone celebration. His Zoom celebration included performances from high-profile hitmakers such as the Jonas Brothers, Billie Eilish, and Chance the Rapper.
